Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) is the first university in the Caucasus region, which opened its doors on January 26, 1918 and was initially called “Tbilisi State University”, and in 1989 the name of the university was changed after its founder Ivan Javaneshvili
Tbilisi Ivan University, or TSU, is one of the largest institutions of higher education, with nearly 22,000 students studying in seven faculties. Besides bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral program, the university applies higher professional education courses, as well as short and long-term certificate program. Working in close cooperation with foreign universities, Georgian students can participate in joint international educational exchanges and programs to earn dual academic degrees
