Black Sea International University (IBSU) was established in 1995 in Tbilisi, Georgia and inaugurated by the Second President of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze and former Turkish Prime Minister Tansu Ciller in accordance with the Cabinet Decree and the opening license granted by the Ministry of Education of Georgia
Black Sea International University aims to train Georgian and foreign students in scientific, technical and professional fields of study, and to use these studies in fields of pure and applied research to contribute to the economic and social needs of Georgia and other countries
Teaching languages are English and Georgian
