Ilia State University (ISU) was established in 2006 as a result of the merger of six different academic institutions, each with a long and rich history. ISU is currently one of the leading research and educational institutions in Georgia.
Located in Tbilisi, Ilia State University is a premier public research and comprehensive higher education institution in the South Caucasus region, focusing on advancing scientific knowledge and providing first-class knowledge transfer to support societal development.
The mission of ISU revolves around three core principles: the unity of teaching and research, the integration of liberal and specialized education, and the balance between global and local perspectives.
Its four faculties — the Faculty of Humanities and Sciences, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine, the Faculty of Business, Technology, and Education, and the Faculty of Law — offer outstanding training across their respective fields, alongside 30 research institutes and centers of various sizes. Documents Required for Registration:
- A copy of the student’s passport.
- A copy of the academic qualification.
- A personal photo.
After submitting your application and fulfilling all the requirements, you will receive an official offer letter from the university within 7 business days.
Upon receiving the offer letter, Al-Batoul Group will begin the enrollment procedures. The process of translation, authentication, recognition, and final registration takes between 15 to 30 business days .
Students can enroll for either the Fall semester (September) or the Spring semester (March) .
